Press
A member-owned guild for app-based couriers and drivers in the United States. Starting in New York City.
What it is
A national, cross-platform membership for people who deliver and drive through Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Instacart and Amazon Flex. Members pay $0.99 a month and get a steward if they’re deactivated, access to a Solidarity Fund, and campaigns aimed at government.
Structure
- A nonprofit member association collects dues and runs the Solidarity Fund.
- A separate technology LLC builds the app and is paid a fixed fee.
- The fund’s share of dues sits in a restricted account and can’t pay for operations.
Board
9 seats. 5 are elected by active drivers and couriers. The first election is in month 12. Board members will be listed here once seated.

Transparency principles
- Published fund rules, with every number public
- A public grant queue and a monthly report
- An independent audit every year
- No advice about which orders to take or what to charge. Campaigns speak to government and the public.
